My favorite design projects are the ones that challenge me, like a puzzle piece that depends on kerning to fit just right. But when I stepped into a position leading children’s books, I felt a new sense of responsibility. Even if it’s just correcting a punctuation mark or removing the cyan from a yellow so it stands a little brighter, every step feels like nurturing the story to its full potential.

Sub-brand of PinkPro Beauty; The beauty industry thrives on the color black, because it's neutral and doesn't stain - Shop Talk challenged this thought with a line of vibrant, pop-art-style tools and accessories that encourages its followers to be as unique and colorful as their creations with hair, makeup, or nails are.

Operating as a small fish in a big pond in the global beauty industry was hard until the team found the gaps with the so-called “big guys.” You know, the big companies that everyone buys from because they can’t think of anywhere else. With a growth rate of 180% per year, I’d say our team established a home town, cares-about-you brand (complete with hand written notes and professional brands straight from the manufacturers) that fits perfectly into those gaps.
